I didn’t see this post until Tolls posted it. Your above statement is a bit harsh.Who said anything about doing away with all doctors? > There was a show on TV last night about this trucker who was a serial > rapist and murderer. Let’s line up and shoot all the truck drivers, > too…can’t let that wretched collection of perverts go unpunished. > And Jim Bakker had that affair and embezzeled money from his church > back in the 80’s. I didn’t post the article. Rod did. My post said: Dear God in heaven! Now there lies the REAL scum! Thank Rod. I stand behing these EXACT words. Anyone who would do this to kids is real scum. Do you disagree? >if not to use the title > to subtly imply that since it was a medical doctor found out to be a > sadistic bastard, we should cast a jaundiced eye on doctors in > general?

The title came with the article Rod posted. I don’t believe it was to cast a juandiced eye on doctors in general at all. Why gives you that idea? > This is a little off-topic, but I figured I’d throw it in for the hell > of it: Do you have kids?

Yes. Grown age 43 and 40. >Grandkids, nieces or nephews

Yes. I guess since you are new here, you don’t know that my profession was the owner and director of two daycare centers. >Imagine the > scenario…you’re taking care of this child, it’s 2 AM, and when you > go check on her, she has thrown up all over the bed, her temperature > is blistering hot (let’s call it 104.8F), she’s stiff in bed with her > back arched and she’s

Absolutely Not. > B) try to call your neighborhood chiropractor at home for a > house-call adjustment on the child

No, that is a stupid question. > C) warm up the Zapper you keep in the closet and wave a 9v

No. > battery-powered gizmo over the prostrate body of your loved one

Another stupid question. > D) freak the hell out and call 911 so this child can go to the ER > where the "bad" doctors are?

Bad doctors? To answer your question. Yes I would either call 911 or rush the child to the ER room. And I would greatly appreciated the doctor who could help my child. Where do you get the idea that I think all doctors are bad? I have often said there are MANY dedicated doctors who carry a great responsibility,,,,,,,,,and THANK GOD for them. > I’m just interested in what answers the "alt" crowd comes up with when > faced with a scenario where the scat really hits the fan. Alternative > approaches to health and wellness certainly have their interesting > points and their place, but it’s insulting when I encounter this > relentless doctor bashing,

WRONG! It is organized medicine that I believe is relentless NOT individual doctors! I happen to know and APPRECIATE many dedicated doctors. >as if any of you would be sad to see the > "conventional" ambulance coming toward you after you just got smashed > up in a car wreck and were lying beside the highway.

I am sorry you seem to be taking this personally Mark. The article was about some sicko psychiatrists who TORTURED children. I know you don’t approve of that. No one said anything about individual doctors. > Ever seen someone say, "Oh my God! Quick, call a Naturopath!"? > Mark, MD

No and I don’t think anyone will EVER say that. You have the wrong idea about me Mark. You need to take a look at my past posting history. Once again, the article was about pure scum. Not doctors personally. God knows there are plenty of daycare centers who are guilty of many scumy acts. I sure wouldn’t want to be included in this bunch. Sincerely, Jan

Response:

Saw one like that, funny thing though, the child (two months) was "healed" by a circle of women. The doctor present was demanding that the child be taken to the hospital. The women simply formed a circle, and as far as I could see, did nothing more than stand with their hands palms out, facing the mother and child. I’m not saying that everyone can do such things, but they do happen. So not everyone would respond as you might, but, some might get better results with something you do not understand.

That bastard! We ought to gas all NZ psychiatrists…or all psychiatrists…better clean out the whole nest and do away with ALL doctors! There was a show on TV last night about this trucker who was a serial rapist and murderer. Let’s line up and shoot all the truck drivers, too…can’t let that wretched collection of perverts go unpunished. And Jim Bakker had that affair and embezzeled money from his church back in the 80’s. Ergo, we should be suspicious of all ministers and clergy; they’re only in it to screw the parishoners out of their bloomers and out of their money. What the hell is the point of your post, Jan, if not to use the title to subtly imply that since it was a medical doctor found out to be a sadistic bastard, we should cast a jaundiced eye on doctors in general? This is a little off-topic, but I figured I’d throw it in for the hell of it: Do you have kids? Grandkids, nieces or nephews? Imagine the scenario…you’re taking care of this child, it’s 2 AM, and when you go check on her, she has thrown up all over the bed, her temperature is blistering hot (let’s call it 104.8F), she’s stiff in bed with her back arched and she’s unresponsive to any of your attempts to arouse her. Do you: A) go mix up a nice cup of chamomile tea B) try to call your neighborhood chiropractor at home for a house-call adjustment on the child C) warm up the Zapper you keep in the closet and wave a 9v battery-powered gizmo over the prostrate body of your loved one D) freak the hell out and call 911 so this child can go to the ER where the "bad" doctors are? I’m just interested in what answers the "alt" crowd comes up with when faced with a scenario where the scat really hits the fan. Alternative approaches to health and wellness certainly have their interesting points and their place, but it’s insulting when I encounter this relentless doctor bashing, as if any of you would be sad to see the "conventional" ambulance coming toward you after you just got smashed up in a car wreck and were lying beside the highway. Ever seen someone say, "Oh my God! Quick, call a Naturopath!"? Mark, MD
